The meeting of the member of the Presidency of the Democratic Party, Ervin Salianji, with the democrats and local structures of this party has begun in Durrës, thus marking the start of a tour of the base of this political force.
This is the first time since Sali Berisha took control of the Democratic Party that "Foltore" are held outside the control of the democratic leader. It is not known whether this first meeting of the Presidency member will be followed by any measures against him, given Berisha's position that he considered it a movement that has no connection with the forums of this party.
The start of such a round of meetings by Salianji was preceded by a coffee, which the former MP organized with the winners of the primaries, but also with candidates for MPs from open lists who resulted among the most voted in the May 11 elections.
As expected, Ilir Alimehmeti appeared alongside Salianj, while the meeting was opened by Oresti Berberi, from the FRPD, who considered this meeting to serve the purpose of strengthening the DP and opening up this political force.
