Ervin Salianji, member of the Presidency of the Democratic Party of Albania, announced a few days ago the holding of a meeting with the Democrats in Durrës, within the framework of a conversation with the members and structures of this party.
Salijanj's speeches were announced after a meeting he had with some of the most voted names in the primaries and as open list candidates in the May 11 elections.
But it seems that this "Poltore" of Salianj, like the meeting in the cafe, has stirred the waters in the DP. It was Sali Berisha who first sounded the alarm as he considered the meeting of a member of his Presidency as not in accordance with the status. Berisha said that the DP should have legitimate structures, where every member can express his opinions.
Immediately after Berisha's warning, the next move was made by the leaders of the DP branches in Durres. A message sent by Osman Stafa, leader of branch 2, and Ardi Muka, of branch 1, has reached the DP membership, asking them not to participate in the meeting called by Salianji.
It seems that in this way, the Democratic leader himself, Sali Berisha, has ensured that this first meeting of Ervin Salianj, who when he left the cell after serving more than 2/3 of his sentence for what is known as the "Babalja" file was received as a hero in the Democratic Party. But it soon seems that the former MP has stirred up the waters in the largest opposition party and within a few days has brought clashes in the DP.
"Unauthorized persons have distributed a notice of a meeting with the structures," adding that this movement "has nothing to do with the Democratic Party or its agenda."
The message describes this call as "complete and utter disinformation."

The Democratic Party today focuses its battle on the Rama-Balluku corruption in the Llogara Tunnel and their other corrupt affairs. In the meantime, we are entering the internal process of analysis, always only within the Party forums.
Therefore, we, as members of the DP, distance ourselves from these so-called meetings announced for tomorrow, December 3rd.
