The member of the Presidency of the Democratic Party, Ervin Salianji, leaves Durrës for a series of meetings with the Democrats and structures of this party.
Despite a message previously distributed to DP members, asking them not to participate in this meeting and to distance themselves, it appears that some of the leaders of local structures have given their support.
Reports indicate that among the supporters are the head of the DP councilors' group in Durres Municipality and former head of Foltores, Tan Burgia; the branch's vice-chairs Vis Shuaipi; former MP Pëllumb Berisha; the branch's secretary Arlind Boshku; the organizational secretary Nikolin Radovani; as well as Luan Hoti, former head of the DP branch and candidate for mayor in the 2023 elections, a time when Lulzim Basha's group had the stamp of the DP.
The meeting will also be attended by heads of structures, former MPs and leaders over the years, as well as the vast majority of group section leaders.
The most voted MPs of Durrës District, Aulon Kalaja and Ndrec Pjetri, will also be part of the meeting. It is also learned that Ilir Alimehmeti, the most voted candidate of the open list of the Democratic Party in Tirana, who failed to obtain a mandate as an MP, has also joined the meeting.
