Floriana Garo, spokesperson for the Democratic Party, has revealed several names that could be part of the list of candidates for MP in the May 11 elections.
For the show "Dekalog", Garo said that she has very good relations with her colleagues within the DP, thus denying some rumors of clashes.

I have very good relationships with Alfred Lela and Silvi Bardhi, who I am telling you will be a primary candidate in the Elbasan area. She also commented on the US decision to declare DP leader Sali Berisha persona non grata in 2021. Garo expressed confidence that this decision will be lifted.
The DP spokesperson added that Sali Berisha has connections to the administration of President Donald Trump, and that this could influence an improvement in relations with the US.
"Sali Berisha's non-grata will be lifted, but I believe that not only for Sali Berisha, but for all those with the same decision. Doctor Sali Berisha has his connections with the Donald Trump administration. The DP will have wonderful relations with the US, especially now that Donald Trump was inaugurated. And if we are going to talk about a sign that shows this improvement in relations, it is the fact that, even with all those executive orders that are shaking up the administration, you will see that it will be translated very quickly in Albania. As for the non-grata, there is no fact or evidence and everyone knows that it was a step to hit the opposition, along with Ambassador Yuri Kim", said Garo.
