Analyst Fitim Zekthi has said that the division of the Democratic Party cannot be stopped, as long as the groups within the opposition do not have the same attitude towards the US decision to declare Sali Berisha "non grata".
Zekthi said that Gazment Bardhi has no political support, and that he used to say that Berisha's congress at the stadium was illegal, while today he has joined it.
Among other things, Zekthi added that Berisha should fight a legal and not a political battle with justice
"I think the division is such that it cannot be stopped until some basic things are resolved. The basic things are the attitudes towards the US decision, towards the justice reform, towards SPAK's attempt to punish the unpunished. If this is not stopped, there is no point. The division cannot be closed, without closing the issue of legitimizing the party. Bardhi has left no room without saying that the stadium congress is illegal and that of December 18 was legal. What can I say? This has no name. These are some of the lowest policies developed in Albania in 32 years. This is just a political battle of Sali Berisha, I would like to fight a legal battle. This justice is better than it was. I would like him to come out innocent. "I don't like political battles with the courts," he told ABC News.
