The MP of the opposition, Ina Zhupa, has accused the vice president of the SP in the Investigative Commission, Plarent Ndreca, of being in a conflict of interest as he was the lawyer of one of the accused for the sterilization concession.
Ndreca said that if it were a conflict of interest, it is the chairman of Rithemalim, Albana Vokshi, who is in conflict, as she was one of the predicates of these concessions.
Zhupa: We are not prejudiced, the president quoted the request that came from DP and refers to the audit performed by KLSH. According to KLSH, from 2015-2018, there are 930 million ALL for incomplete services just for check up. This amount is quadrupled by 2024. It's taxpayers' money. This should worry you. Those who do not like the data should clarify whether they have a conflict of interest in this commission. For me, there is a conflict of interest because he was the lawyer of one of the accused in the concession. Ndreca should clarify his position and continue working for the public interest.
Vokshi: Everyone should sign a declaration that they have no conflict of interest for the issues that will be addressed and the witnesses that will be called.
Ndreca: It would be good to understand who is in conflict of interest, me or the president, which is indicative. If there was room for conflict, it would be the president who is indicative of having created convictions about the circumstances that are the subject of the investigation.
