The Deputy President of the Reestablishment, MP Gazment Bardhi has today officially addressed the Assembly to implement the decision of the Constitutional Court for the mandate of Olta Xhaçka, which has not been implemented for 1 year and two months.
According to Bardhi, the obstruction of the implementation of the decision of the Constitutional Court in the case of the mandate of deputy Olta Xhacka, comes after the clear evidence of the fact that her family has benefited from the status of strategic investor with the signature of Prime Minister Edi Rama, her superior, under flagrant conditions of violation of the law and conflict of interest.
"This case takes on the dimensions of pure political protection and obstruction of justice, if we take into consideration the new data investigated and made public by SPAK, from which it turned out that ownership of the land was obtained with completely falsified documents by made it possible for an agricultural land, with a total area of 10,592 m2, located in Dhërmi/Vlora, owned by the state, to be alienated through transactions to third parties in favor of the private entity owned by the husband of the MP Olta Xhacka, stripping the state of its ownership and benefiting with forged documents the status of strategic investor from Prime Minister Edi Rama and the right to develop a project worth 5 million euros in the field of tourism." - writes Bardhi.
Based on this, Bardhi considered unacceptable the political protection and obstruction of justice that the majority is doing in the case of former minister and deputy Olta Xhacka, preventing the implementation of decision no. 1/2023 of the Constitutional Court, and requested the implementation of this decision and the calling of the meeting of the Conference of Speakers to include in the nearest plenary session the sending of the issue of the mandate of deputy Olta Xhacka for consideration in the Constitutional Court.
In the letter addressed to the Speaker of the Assembly and for the information of the diplomatic missions in our country, Bardhi recalls that the benefit of properties with forged documents by strategic investors is a repeated case.
"This is the second documented case in a short time, where the property on the coast is stolen from the state with forged documents, in order to pass it on to friends or associates of Prime Minister Edi Rama. We remind here that in an identical situation 390 thousand meters of land owned by the state on the beach of Velipoja, were obtained through forgeries by the friend of the Prime Minister Edi Rama, the citizen arrested as a participant in organized crime Pëllumb Gjoka, and where then the Prime Minister Edi Rama approved a strategic investment project worth 52 million euros." - writes Bardhi.
In the letter of the DP Parliamentary Group, it is emphasized that the Assembly must fulfill its obligations, while they expect SPAK to fully and comprehensively investigate how these two private subjects (Artan Gaçi and Pëllumb Gjoka), with close ties to The government, through falsified documents, passed the executive's control filters and gained the status of a strategic investor, clearly evidencing the role of the Prime Minister and anyone else involved in these cases.
In the end, Bardhi emphasizes that any further delay of this issue would be the most flagrant violation that the Assembly has done to the Constitution in 33 years, as well as a clear message of the political will of the socialist majority to cement the culture of impunity, through offering of political protection against the deputies of the majority and the obstruction of the implementation of the decisions of the Constitutional Court, an institution that emerged after the Reform in Justice and part of what the Prime Minister often needs for propaganda, describes as the "new justice".
