"The troubles don't end on May 11", Alimehmeti: DP determined to

Ilir Alimehmeti, a candidate for deputy on the open list of Tirana, spoke about the electoral campaign. He emphasized that the country has many social and economic problems.

Alimehmeti stated that the Democratic Party is determined to fight poverty. According to him, by first fighting the source, namely poverty.

"The reason why someone flees from one country to another is that they no longer have a means to live. We don't have war in Albania. We have social and economic problems. We have a proverb in Albania: poverty, disgrace. We have decided to fight disgrace, by fighting the source first, that is, poverty," he said.

Alimehmeti also spoke about the electoral campaign, saying that they are holding numerous meetings, while adding that "the problems do not end on May 11th and as long as we do not understand that there is a problem, we cannot solve it."

"In my profession, I am used to dynamism. It is because Tirana is a very large district, the space must be managed. It also requires understanding. Many people want to keep you longer, but time is limited. The problems do not end on May 11 and as long as we do not understand that there is a problem, we cannot solve it ," Alimehmeti told "News 24".
