Details from the investigation file against the former Minister of Health Ilir Beqaj for false declaration of wealth, have revealed that the car in which the official was driving was in fact under investigation by SPAK as a vehicle benefited from corruption and falsely declared in the name of citizen Ermal Kurtulaj, Beqaj's subordinate in SASPAC.
The Special Prosecutor's Office, in the facts it presented to the Court to allow the control of the homes, offices and personal cars of the citizens involved in the investigation, reveals that the driver of the former Minister of Health, Arben Dani, drove this car to send Beqaj to the destinations of necessary.
One of these destinations was SPAK where Beqaj had to appear twice a week in the context of the Sterilization issue.
The investigative file shows that in one of the cases, the wrong parking of the driver Arben Danit caused him to be fined on December 12 by the police in front of the SPAK building. According to the prosecution, this and other suspicious actions make Beqaj the "de facto" owner of this car.
According to SPAK, it appears that Beqaj uses the vehicle with license plate AA868YP both inside and outside the country. The vehicle was purchased in 2019, when Beqaj was a deputy. / TCH
