Analyst Frrok Çupi warns of the arrest of two former prime ministers in Albania. Direct in what he says and as always accurate and serious, Mr. Çupi has made a scan of the political situation in the country, while he has burst into strong accusations against former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, the latter's son, Shkëlzen, former president Ilir Meta and anyone involved in violence, counting their "sins" one by one.
During an interview for "SOT" newspaper, the analyst Çupi emphasizes that the corrupt politicians incriminated in Albania will be sunk by the Special Prosecutor's Office (SPAK).
Focusing on the "Gërdec" tragedy, which is being thoroughly investigated by SPAK, the analyst shows how Shkëlzen Berisha inadvertently made a "grave for himself" by bringing out the evidence that implicates him in the "Gërdec" affair.
Also, he commented on the interceptions of "SKY" and "EncroChat" where politicians, police, prosecutors, judges, high officials and even journalists are suspected to have been involved.
Meanwhile, Mr. Çupi also shows where the criminal evidence is hidden that SPAK is looking for for Ilir Meta, Kryemadhi and their associates. Also, the well-known analyst shows how the 'January 21' file will be revealed and who, according to him, is the great American plan that the USA has prepared for Sali Berisha.
-Mr. Çupi, the Supreme Court overturned the decision of the Appeal for the stamp of the DP and returned the case for reconsideration to this court with another body. This is a small victory for Berisha, who appealed to the Supreme Court against the March 3 decision of the Appeal. Now the seal is no longer in Basha's hands until a second decision of the Appeal, even though he appears in the court as the chairman of the Democratic Party. How do you see this decision?
If there was a 'small victory', since the decision was announced, Berisha would have put out our eyes and put the fuses on us. But there is no point of victory, neither small nor large. There are no 'small victories' in Justice; win or lose Specifically, the Constitutional Court returned the case for a correction of the previous procedure, and of course another team will judge. That's it. Of course, he considered the petitioner's request; this is natural for a non-prejudicial court. The chairman of the DP is Lulzim Basha, this position has not wavered.
- Sali Berisha has been placed under house arrest with closed doors and contact only with family members. Did you think this day would come for Sali Berisha, or is this the beginning for him of all the bad things he has done?
Are you asking me, personally? Or an ordinary citizen? Of course, I knew, or saw it on the horizon. I don't know how unworthy Berisha would be by running away, but I know how unworthy he has been throughout his life as a political leader. I have publicly announced since August 1991 that "with Berisha we are going to hell, in the same carriage as Enver Hoxha".
But it happened that we suffered worse. Sali Berisha is the country's greatest danger, the most destructive, the most violent and the most corrupt phenomenon. While an ordinary citizen, I don't believe that he has previously thought of the end of Berisha as it happened.
Because it is not even the duty of an ordinary citizen to know the horrors that were hidden inside Berisha's body: Intriguer, evil man, thief, violent, murderer, divisive between people and between provinces, primitive, destroyer of democracy... This is so so evil that he deceived people by creating a second personality, which he did not actually have. Create the idea that; at least this one doesn't steal". But in fact his first quality is to destroy what he has in hand. Do you see it now?
- What awaits us politically in 2024, how do you see the opposition with the departure of Sali Berisha?
The opposition is freed from a tyrant and degenerate. I remember Vlora in 1997, where I spent the whole war, they called it not Sali, but "Degenerata". The opposition is freed from an evil shadow, from a disaster and a shame. The West, especially America, has done its best to give PD chances to revive, leaving Berisha behind. Let's see if he can do it. But the opposition is not only DP. While Foltorja is not opposition at all. It is a lawless, amorphous, non-political and almost criminal mob.
-In addition to the departure of Sali Berisha, we are seeing that Ilir Meta has been withdrawing from politics for months. Not only has he abandoned the protests organized by Berisha, but he is not even appearing in the media. Is it possible that the former president is afraid that the same fate as Berisha will follow him because of the many files he has in SPAK?
Today, Ilir Meta was declared 'under investigation' together with his wife. This was announced by the chief prosecutor of SPAK, Mr. Dumani. In other words, he was put 'in the shoes' of Berisha. Albania is being separated from its worst dream, from two mafia capos who ate the life of the country. Soon, Albania will be at the top of the world news as 'the state that defeated the big criminal organizations' at the end of the era of the state mafia. Albania had not tried this great test. Now our country will have two presidents of the Republic and two prime ministers behind bars. This is world news.
- SPAK itself has started confiscation of evidence in the "Meta" family, even Kryemadhi confirmed that SPAK has put them under financial investigation, do you think it can sink their wealth?
SPAK's evidence is being collected, of course. But the criminal evidence of Ilir Meta and CO. They are located in the wounds of the country and the state. They are everywhere.
-Shkëlzen Berisha ngjiti këtë javë shkallët e Gjykatës së Posaçme, ku dëshmoi për tragjedinë e “Gërdecit”. Javën që kaloi ai ju shmang thirrjes, por këtë herë u paraqit që herët në mëngjes. Si e shikoni këtë zhvillim?
Nuk ka asnjë zhvillim. Shkëlzeni ishte një dëshmitar i rremë para gjykatës, gjë që e rëndon pozitën e tij. Por, dashje pa dashje, ai dëshmoi se ka pasur lidhje me qeverinë, se ka urdhëruar ministrat në emër të babait të tij Sali, se është ai që e ka krijuar dhe i ka marrë fitimet fabrikës së Vdekjes në Gërdec. -Ndërkohë vendimi i fundit i Gjykatës së Strasburgut për Aleks Nikën, thotë se ka dy shkelje në këtë çështje: Vrasja dhe më pas moszbardhja e vrasjes! Në vendimin e kësaj gjykate theksohet se shteti ka përgjegjësi për vrasjen e Aleks Nikës, ndërsa fajtori duhet të dënohet. Pra Strasburgu i dha një goditje tronditëse Sali Berishës dhe çetës së tij që zbatuan urdhrat për vrasjet në 21 janar. Si e komentoni këtë vendim?
Strasburgu i ndriçoi rrugën Drejtësisë që të gjejë vrasësit e 4 dëshmorëve në bulevard. Duhej kjo ndihmë siç duhet oksigjeni për jetën e njeriut. Vendimi i Strasburgut ka dhënë shpresë në mes familjarëve dhe qytetarëve në vendin tonë. Kishim kaq shuma vrasës mizorë në qeveri saqë këta mizorë nuk do t’ i mposhtnim pa ndihmën e Amerikës dhe Europës. Ngjarja në bulevard është ngjarja më tragjike e shtetit shqiptar. Sepse ka ndodhur në emër të demokracisë, ku njerëz janë vrarë nga qeveria e tyre njësoj si të ishin egërsira në errësirë.
-Si i komentoni përgjimet e “SKY ECC”? Aty thuhet se dalin gazetarë të njohur që bashkëpunojnë me krimin dhe politikanë që kanë porositur vrasje.
Të enjte kryeprokurori i SPAK e shpjegoi qartë këtë çështje. Dua të shtoj keqardhjen e thellë për kolegët tanë gazetarë, që në fakt prej kohësh e dimë se punojnë me çdo kriminel që u ofron pasuri, me çdo antishqiptar që u ofron të sulmojnë atdheun e tyre dhe këta e quajnë kombin shqiptar një ‘rracë koti’. Ose bëjnë thirrje në media për ‘vrasjen e prokurorëve të SPAK’. Më keq se kur rekrutohen policët nga krimi... Refuzoj që këta të jenë në radhët e gazetarëve, ose gazetarët e vendit duhet të bojkotojnë profesionin e tyre.
-Thuhet se amerikanët dhe britanikët pritet të sjellin një tjetër “listë të zezë”. Mendoni se do të ketë emra nga opozita pasi disa prej tyre nuk po zbatojnë kërkesat e ndërkombëtarëve për shkëputjen nga mbështetja e të korruptuarve dhe “non-gratave”?
Kam frikë se emërtimi ‘ non grata’ po kthehet në modë nga disa politikanë periferikë ose edhe media periferike. Nuk është kjo gjëja që na sjell shpëtimin. ‘Non-grata’ është një sinjal për Drejtësinë. Po shikojmë që Drejtësia po vepron me mençuri e profesionalizëm dhe kjo është e tëra.
- How do you see the "Rama" government, will it be easier to win another mandate with the departure of Berisha?
Let's leave aside the 'Rama' government and look at Albania. Albania has become like its European friends. Tirana has returned to the Europe of the Balkans. Our country has been put on the map of the most beautiful places for tourism and living. The citizenry is perfected in its civic behavior. The economy is growing at better rates than its peers in the region. Security and peace are guaranteed.
Crime detection capability is among the most advanced in the West. Albania has a high place in international authority, so much so that we used to look at it as a country reserved only for America or France or Germany... Think about how we used to feel about Albania. We have film chronicles that make us feel ashamed: Kalashë, shootings, murders, civil war, the UN army here, murders, hunger, theft... Even Saliu, who created it, cannot find this Albania; therefore it feels in crisis. We leave the definition 'Rama's government', but Edi Rama made this a reality./ TODAY
