Evi Kokalari, the Albanian-American activist, who in 2021 joined Sali Berisha on the 'Pulpit' tour and then in what was considered the Re-establishment of the DP, has reacted again with a post on social media calling on the democratic leader to hand over the seal and this party.
Kokalari says he will not allow the next leader of the DP to be appointed by Shkëlzen Berisha, the son of the former Prime Minister, or to be controlled by him.
"Berisha will be thrown up, with grace or without grace that seal will be taken away, and that opposition will be re-established, with the basic principles of conservatism that I myself brought to the pulpits, and that you clan, with pathos, used to throw ashes in everyone's eyes. In fact, the word 'conservatism' was introduced into widespread use in Albania only after the pulpits began, and at first they were mocked by referring to it as 'conservative'. This was the level of political education after communism," writes Kokalari.
The activist even warns that other US departments will deal with Berisha.
"The file did not go to Trump to deal with Berisha, because Berisha is of no interest to anyone here, of course except for those who filled their pockets with millions of dollars. The file went to Trump to understand who Marco Rubio's lice are and how they are exploiting the Trump administration, so it was my moral duty to tell the reality to the chiefs of staff who have served Trump much longer than Susie Wiles, who these fools think they have captured.
"Other departments, with whom I am working, will deal with Berisha and I will not stop until there is an unconditional surrender of the party that you have taken hostage since the fall of the communist regime and you have the audacity to continue today," she says.

The only way I will part with Sali Berisha and his family is when they hand over the seal to me, not hand it over to those who have been licked by these and are being servile and will be controlled by Shkëlzeni as he pleases, or even pass it on to their families!! This party is not property that you inherited from your father and you will no longer hold it hostage!!
I am really talking about unconditional 'surrender', because no honest race is won in that party. When the seal is surrendered, I will re-form that party, and I have a list of those who will be expelled from that party from day one and will never set foot in it again. In the meantime, the door will be opened to all those who were expelled and expelled during the 34 years, and any intellectual or supporter who has the sincerity to strengthen the opposition and win a majority in parliament.

Moreover, no one in that 're-established' party has fought my fight to introduce primaries and defend meritocracy, to stop the coalition with LSI and to stop the remnants that came from Basha's side, but all became part of the massive and shameful fiasco, as such, none of you have the credibility or clean resume to trust you to reshape or re-establish the opposition properly, totally and without compromise.
And your attacks after I raised my voice are still fresh in my mind, but you neither humbled me, nor did you make me surrender to the mud you threw at me and my family.
Today I hold my head high, you come around with your tail under the saddle, because that's what animals you are!
The true intellectuals who saw reality over the course of 34 years, and who could not withstand the war that you, the DP, wage against them by denigrating figures and families, (I suffered at their expense) were forced to leave in silence.
But you have me here.
I'm not leaving until you hand over the PD and the villa to me.
I'll leave the form of how you'll do it to you, because you're the masters at this point. When I see that you won't do it, I'll take many steps to make it a reality.
I suggest Berisha or Shkelzeni contact me privately and talk in detail. I don't do theater for anyone. I am very clear and I am very open publicly - that stamp will be taken with grace or without grace, and this is a truth that no one in Albania denies, especially those who vegetate in the current DP.
