The robbery of Himara municipality by Edi Rama, through an election process imposed by violence after losing the vote on May 14, ended the public destruction of an entire state in the interest of the prime minister.
This degraded process, to legitimize the robbery of the will of the Himariots a year ago, set several records that will remain as indelible marks of the final execution of representative democracy and free suffrage.
For the first time, openly and publicly, Edi Rama did not personally take on all the sin of killing the elections. He made every link of the Albanian state complicit, which was assumed as a guarantee for the citizens and as a check and balance of the executive. The State Police, the Vlora Prosecutor's Office, SPAK, the Special Court, the Supreme Court, the Constitutional Court, the CEC and President Bajrami were invested in the kidnapping of Fredi Beler's mandate.
The prime minister's challenge to keep Himara at any cost turned into submission for the entire state that did not dare to react in any case in the face of the most dangerous precedent for democracy and free elections. Himara, already turned into a gold mine for the Renaissance, will have the same colonizer, while the Himariotes will continue to exchange their "gold" for pieces of the mirror on the Prime Minister's Facebook.
The officialization of the theft of Beler's mandate will also be remembered for the end of the opposition's illusions that the regime can be defeated with votes and the futility of elections in a country where the entire state is under the orders of a single man. The opposition's participation in Himara's rigged process made a pair of predetermined votes look like an election the night Freddy Beller was handcuffed. Talking later about vote manipulation, when the rape of the entire system happened in broad daylight, has no value. After Himara, the opposition can no longer aim at the election process, but at the resistance.
Since the change of the territorial map in 2015, when Rama annexed the villages of Lumi i Vlora and Lukova to Himara, and the turmoil that happened afterwards with the properties and concreting of the south, it was clearly seen that basically it was not the effort for the flag but the gluttony for profit. Today, the "patriots" of the motive that Himara is not a minority, will have a leader of a minority officially recognized as such. Because for Rama, who raises a bust of Constantine Micotaqis in Albania, the color of the flag is not important, but the gold mine where his interests are fed. People close to the prime minister, exponents of renaissance, oligarchs who pick the bag in campaigns, pious thugs in elections and mercenaries who are ready to serve on their knees, are the ones who today enjoy the donated pieces of Himara, while the residents cannot lift a wall to surround their houses.
The most beautiful and most expensive part of the Albanian coast will continue to be administered by Edi Rama, through Vangjel Tavos, as a puppet of a stolen mandate. For the first time, Himara will have a non-himariot at the head and, the biggest irony that, despite the state violence, was deeply lost exactly where the renaissance fatherland was made, in Dhërmi and Himare. A statistic, as the last sign to resist the wave of greed, but which has no value after the violent overthrow of an entire state. With the complicity of the new justice and the votes of the Vlora River, the prime minister will continue to divide the pieces of the coast just as if he had them in Petro Koleka's papers.
Himara served yesterday as the last mile stone of an illusory journey to Albanian democracy. The subjugation of an entire state, the robbery of a mandate in prison, the mockery of the citizens' will and the use of the vote as toilet paper, by a man who once came as an enlightener and ended up as a money changer, were engraved there. Exchange of interests that guarantee absolute power./Lapsi.al
