The Democratic Party, through elected MP Klevis Balliu, has denounced the serious state of public security in the country, specifically in the city of Shkodra.
In a statement to the media, Balliu said that the city, once a symbol of culture, citizenship, humor and bicycles, has been transformed by Edi Rama into the center of organized crime.
"Just two days after the murder of Kristian Kola in the middle of the city and ten days after the murder of Piro Prroni, Shkodra was shocked by another massacre with dead and wounded. The target of the perpetrators this time was Erogen Vaso (Brajovic), the brother of Denis Brajovic, the "helper" of Pëllumb Gjoka, the "strategic investor" of Edi Rama. Denis Brajovic's name appeared in Sky ECC wiretaps while committing murders on behalf of Gjoka.
It should be noted that Erogen Vaso, (Brajovic), a former member of the Shkodra Municipal Council, is known for his connections with the Bajri criminal group. Vaso himself, according to media reports, is hospitalized in serious condition.
"This bloody incident killed Armando Pali, an IMT employee, Geridon Kraja, the driver of Erogen Vaso, and injured a female employee of the bar, citizen MK, 25 years old," said Balliu.
He said that this situation is alarming and endangers the life of every Albanian.
"This situation requires national conscience and a determined confrontation with this criminal government, by every democratic means, in defense of the country and families."
The Democratic Party will continue the battle against the mafia and drug lords.
"We invite all Albanian citizens to join in this common battle against evil," he said.
