Former Democratic MP, Ervin Salianji, in a meeting with supporters in the Vlora district, spoke about the abusive increase in prices in the country whenever there are conflicts in the world.
He criticized the DP for not reacting to these abuses and that, according to him, the reason is the fact that they refuse to listen to the people's concerns. Salinaji emphasized that the DP should be an open party based on meritocracy and not turn into a bunker.
"War is raging in Iran, prices are rising in Albania. And the DP must speak out about what Albanians are worried about today. About the lack of healthcare, education. The DP is facing a political and organizational crisis today because it will not listen. In many cases, it has been perceived as disconnected from the ground, stuck in an outdated political language. But the DP must be open, meritocratic. Only a strong opposition in values can restore the trust of citizens. But the party is bunkering down, and inventing imaginary enemies ," he said.
