Democratic Party MP Ervin Salianji, during a meeting with supporters in Vlora, criticized the opposition and the way its leadership is perceived by citizens.
Salianji said that some citizens do not trust the leadership of the Democratic Party sufficiently, emphasizing that the responsibility for this should not be attributed to the citizens, but to the political leaders themselves.
"Citizens have a clear message and we must listen to it. They do not trust the DP leadership enough and the people are not to blame for this. When citizens do not trust enough, then politicians and leadership must change, accepting responsibility ," said Salianji.
However, he stressed that the Democratic Party remains an important political force in the country and that the goal is for it to return victorious in the elections.
"The Democratic Party has been, is and will remain a great political force, but we must work to make it a winner," the Democratic MP declared during the meeting.
