The head of the DP Parliamentary Group, Gazment Bardhi, has accused the government and the majority of stealing IPARD funds.
Addressing Taulant Balla, Bardhi said that this commission will verify how the money provided by the EU, instead of going to farmers, went to Suel Çela's father.
"You don't want to talk about why the EU has blocked millions of euros in funds that were going to farmers.
We are the only country where this has happened, because this government is not only stealing from Albanian taxpayers but also from European ones."
Within the week, we will file a request for an investigative commission on this matter, because we will prove to Taulant how Suel Çela's father took the money that belonged to the Elbasan farmer.
You don't want to talk about this issue, we didn't want to play politics with this issue, but we have a duty to discuss and hold accountable.
"Are you afraid that we will say that you financed organized crime with EU funds? We don't need to say it because the EC said it," said Bardhi.
