Democratic Party leader Sali Berisha spoke in Parliament about the opposition's request for a motion with debate regarding the Serbian genocide in Kosovo.
Berisha responded to Balla, who ironically called him the son-in-law of Serbia, while accusing Prime Minister Rama of being a servant of Aleksandar Vučić.
From the parliament's rostrum, Berisha took stock of the number of people killed during the Serbian aggression in Kosovo. "Where do you find this strength to step on the blood of these people?" Berisha asked the socialists.
He added that even if there were Serbs and the genocide had been committed by Albanians, he would vote in favor.
"You will add the minutes of the response to it. During the period 98-99, the barbaric Serbian forces committed about 100 massacres in Kosovo, evidenced against its population. In Likoshan, on February 28 to March 1, 24 civilian victims, Prekazë; March 5-7, 59 civilian victims, 55 of the Jashari family. Shala e Bajgoras, 12 civilian victims. In Abri e Epërme, September 26, 24 civilian victims. Lubeniq, the second massacre, 100 civilian victims, among them pregnant women," he said.
Berisha emphasized that whoever violates the sacrifice does not have Albanian blood.
"Those who step on their blood in this terrible genocide, they are not Albanians. They are at the level of primitive man or animal. But you do not want to present it. These figures are from the Kosovo parliament, which we must present here. To deny the conscience of our country means to be a being without social and national conscience.
This is outside any kind of process. But you also have a family of yours who fought. You have people who fell for the homeland. Can an Albanian step on this blood. Why do you do it? Because your leader is a servant of Vučić. And what kind of nationality you belong to, you must stand by the genocide. This is genocide. The killing of civilians for ethnic reasons," Berisha said.
