The leader of the Republican Party, Fatmir Mediu, declared from the Parliament's rostrum that the agenda item for the motion on the Serbian genocide should include the issue of the release of former KLA leaders.
Mediu has hinted that he will participate in the protest organized in Tirana tomorrow for the KLA. He said that he will be at the protest as a citizen and that he is not asking Balla to participate.
"Whoever forgets history is forced to repeat it. Unfortunately, or fortunately, some of you have not known it. This Assembly should not only talk about the genocide, but also add one point, the immediate release of the former KLA leaders. I had the honor of personally knowing Thaçi, Veseli, Rexhep Selimi. There should be no political stance on this issue. We cannot be on the side of the KLA leaders and on the other hand with Vučić. We must be clear. I will not ask you Taulant Balla, I will be wherever I please. I will not ask your permission," said Mediu.
Meanwhile, Balla's reaction was immediate.
"I have kept it but I can't keep it anymore. Since I made you a chronology of what you have done to harm Kosovo.
"Just 28 days after Kosovo's declaration of independence, the two of you blew up Gërdec together," Balla said.
