The Minister of Economy and Innovation, Delina Ibrahimaj, during an activity held on April 7 to present job vacancies in the public sector, provided a summary of the performance of the economy during 2025.
She stated that unemployment has fallen to 8.3%, while the average national salary has reached around 87 thousand lekë. According to her, salaries have been increasing continuously from year to year.
Ibrahimaj also emphasized that around 1,500 job vacancies have been published on the "puna.gov.al" portal, where public institutions are obliged to report vacancies.
"In 2025, GDP reached 27 billion lek, while per capita income reached over 11 thousand euros. Unemployment today is 8.3 percent and employment is almost 70 percent. Wages have increased year after year and the average salary has reached almost 87 thousand lek. The disposable income of Albanian families has increased in general.
Remittances have increased, which are the basis for Albanian families. The labor market has a more positive performance today. The puna.gov.al portal has been open for 3 months now. 80 institutions have published their data on this portal. There are over 1,500 job vacancies that have been published on this portal", said the minister.
