For Endrit Braimllari, the rejection of the amendments of the Freedom Party councilors for the reduction of local taxes in Tirana prove that Veliaj's vision is not in the interest of the citizens but in the interest of the incinerator bosses.
In a statement to the media, Braimllari said that the citizens in 2024 will face a fiscal policy that is only in the service of Erion Veliaj, his directors that does not return to the service of the citizens and the economic development of Tirana.
He writes that the citizens are clear that there is no incinerator, although Veliaj has provided 16.7 million euros.
It also calls on SPAK to take the mayor of Tirana as a defendant who, according to him, is deepening the abuse of 15 hectares of construction without permission.
Endri Braimllari's full statement:
Dear citizens, the rejection of the amendments proposed by the Freedom Party councilors in the municipal council of Tirana clearly show the lack of will to turn attention to the citizens.
The amendments proposed by the Freedom Party were about reducing the fiscal burden for citizens and businesses in Tirana.
Improving the administration of local taxes and fees by the municipality.
Our proposals were about cutting unnecessary expenses, waste of administrative luxury and big corrupt affairs.
Our proposals increased support for economic development and social policies and focused the municipality's attention on small and medium-sized businesses, support for youth and the empowerment of agriculture and agritourism.
The Freedom Party in the municipal council of Tirana proposed:
Reduction by 50% of the table tax level for the effect of advertising in electronic form.
Lowering the level of infrastructure impact tax from 8% to 4% of the investment value.
Halving the fee for businesses.
Reduction of the fee for obtaining a work permit from 1% of the investment for a construction permit to 0.5% of the investment.
Reduction of the fee for occupying public spaces from 200-1500 m2, which is currently 100-750 ALL per square meter.
50% reduction of the public parking fee.
Reduction of the current price of water for family subscribers from 65 Lek per cubic meter to 43 Lek per cubic meter.
The rejection of these amendments shows that the vision of the Municipality of Tirana is not the citizen but the incinerator of Tirana that does not exist.
Citizens in 2024 will face a fiscal policy that is only at the service of Erion Veliaj, his directors, that does not serve the citizens and the economic development of Tirana.
The corrupt affair of the incinerator will continue to occupy the main item in the budget of Erion Veliaj and why it is under sequestration by SPAK.
Citizens are clear that there is no incinerator, however Erion Veliaj has predicted 16.7 million euros for the non-existent incinerator.
The corruption case denounced by the Freedom Party for the construction without permission in the landfill of Tirana, an unauthorized construction in the territory of the Municipality of Tirana that has occupied 15 hectares of land, which is used for the interests of the Municipality of Tirana.
SPAK must take the mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, as a defendant, who has signed in violation of the law, paving the way for the concession of the incinerator and continues and deepens his abuse with 15 hectares of construction without permission.
The fastest and most in-depth SPAK investigation serves the interest of the citizens of Tirana who are robbed every day but have not yet received justice.
