Socialist Party MP Erion Braçe appeared this time in the plenary session with a bag of vegetables, in a symbolic act to draw attention to the situation of agriculture in the country.
At his request, an interpellation with the Minister of Agriculture, Andis Salla, is expected to take place in the Assembly, where the focus will be on the problems of farmers, as well as issues related to the production, processing and marketing of milk.
This development comes at a time when, according to market observations, the prices of fuel and basket products have increased, in a context also influenced by tensions and war in the Middle East.
The debate in the Assembly is expected to focus on support for farmers and the impact of rising costs on the food chain, while it remains to be seen what concrete responses and measures will be presented by the Ministry of Agriculture.
