The chairman of PD Lulzim Basha, at the election assembly of PD branch 6 in Tirana, in Kombinat, has declared that the current government has turned into the most failed government and that it has taken revenge on the Albanians in every aspect.
He said that the real crisis of Albanians is the economic one while adding that the government wants the country without institutions and free media.
Lulzim Basha also spoke about the corruption of the former FBI official, calling it a twisted political game against him by Prime Minister Edi Rama.
"The current government, after no discussion, has turned into the most failed government that has taken revenge on the Albanians in every aspect. In no aspect more than in the destruction of hundreds, thousands of Albanian families, forcing young Albanians to leave as the only option for a better life. Albanians know very well what are the main reasons for this exodus crisis, which in terms of parameters, in terms of speed, is emptying Albania of young people, of young women, of professionals, of educated people, of those that Albania has more need to be resurrected. The reasons are clear, the corruption that has reached the highest point in these 34 years, the dysfunction of the rule of law, that is, inequality before the law and the non-implementation of legal guarantees for every citizen, but only for the strong who get from the law what they want. it belongs to every citizen and they do not give responsibility before the law and I am talking here about all the untouchables, all the political, economic and criminal impunities.
This is the crisis for which there is no political debate because those who have to do it love Albania and the Albanians like this, without institutions and free media.
In which country in the world can we find cases like the one that concluded on Friday with the sentence of 2 years and 4 months in prison of the former FBI counterintelligence chief Neë Yourku, because he was bribed by Edi Rama alone for him to attack the leader of the Democratic Party and the opposition, his rival for prime minister, as investigative records and independent American media have made clear, and to use Albanian taxpayers' money for a dirty political war. Let there be no doubt, despite the fact that the attack was personal, it was against Lulzim Basha, because Lulzim Basha was the chairman of the Democratic Party and the rival for prime minister. And this gives this affair unique dimensions in the first place for the community of states that we claim to share the same values with them, while we are in the same alliance, have signed obligations and enjoy the same benefits that is the Euro-Atlantic community, the NATO countries s, but also beyond. "It has never happened that the head of the government would do this by corrupting one of the highest law enforcement and intelligence officials of an ally, friend and strategic partner," said Basha.
