Member of the Democratic Party, Luan Baçi, invited to a television show, commented on the opposition's scenarios for the blocking of the plenary session, as well as the punishment of the former member of parliament, Ervin Salianji. Baçi says that each of the DP deputies has burned his own chair and warns of other scenarios of violence in the Assembly.
As for the opposition's complaint against the 74 SP MPs in SPAK regarding the 'Xhaçka' case, Baçi says that it was not revenge. According to him, SP MPs have committed a criminal offense after opposing two decisions of the Constitutional Court by not sending for verification the mandate of Socialist MP Olta Xhaçka, whom the opposition accuses of conflict of interest.
" It was not revenge, but it was discussed weeks ago in DP. It was not done in response to the fact that they took us to SPAK, our taking to SPAK because we set fire to our chairs, we must not back down. Each of us assumes that he has burned his own chair. It is a form of protest that the opposition MPs do, we will do it even worse than that because of the current state of that parliament.
The deputies of the majority have committed a criminal offense, they have opposed two decisions of the Constitutional Court and they have voted against. SPAK here will show their professionalism that they are afraid or dependent on Rama. If there will be independent justice and if SPAK will do its duty, there is no need to deal with the investigation of the case, because there is money from the Constitutional Court that has explicitly said they have violated the constitution, they have not taken the mandate to the Constitutional Court ", said Baçi in " Report TV".
