On October 29 at 17:00, the Democratic Party has warned of the continuation of what it calls "civil disobedience".
The political leader of the DP for Tirana, Belind Kelliçi, declared that there will be a toughening of the opposition action in October. According to him, the actions so far have been mild, milder than this majority deserves according to him.
Kelliçi also commented on what happened in the previous protest, where the pink headquarters was hit with a molotov and the banner placed at its entrance was set on fire.
He stated that the headquarters of the SP was not hit, because there is no longer a Socialist Party, according to him there is now only a narco-state.
"October 7 much tougher. There should be more rigor about what these deserve. The headquarters of the SP was not hit because there is no longer a Socialist Party, it is a narco-state. On the 29th, there should and will be an escalation of the opposition's action ," he said.
The Democrat also spoke about the 2025 elections, where he said that the PD is not looking for victory at the table, but only a fair competition with free elections.
" PD does not seek to take power at the table, but free and fair elections. Convinced by the support of the citizens and the potential in the diaspora. There you will not find supporters of a 4th term of this government, because it is illogical. They want a change and the return of normality in the country.
We are no longer a normal democracy. PD decided not to go to polls where the result is prescribed, but to elections. It's a tooth-by-tooth battle for Albania to return to normality and leave the narco-state," he said.
