The political leader of the Democratic Party, Belind Kelliçi, commented on Rama's meeting in New York. He said that the head of the narco-state, Edi Rama, was met with strong protests by the Albanian-American patriots of New York, who showed the place to the architect of the massive depopulation of Albania in these 12 years.
Kelliçi emphasized that it is up to the justice authorities to find out who these benefactors are who spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on gifts and pleasures for Edi Rama in the USA, as these are just some of the activities that have been discovered by the opposition.
He asks who paid for the NBA game tickets, which Kellici says cost between $3,600 and $7,260 per person.
Meanwhile, Kelliçi calls on the citizens to join the DP's call for civil disobedience, in the October 29 protest at 5:00 p.m.
"Yesterday, the head of Europe's first narco-state, Edi Rama, was met with strong protests by the Albanian-American patriots of New York, who showed the country to the architect of the massive depopulation of Albania in these 12 years.
First of all, we sincerely thank all those Albanians who, yesterday, joined the call of the Albanian opposition to unmask the head of Narkoshtet Edi Rama, in the heart of the USA, where today his close friend, Charles McGonigal is serving a prison sentence.
Edi Rama did not go to the USA for the Albanians, but Alex Soros' birthday party and the NBA game between the New York Knicks and the Indiana Pacers were the real reasons for this luxury visit.
Today, from this floor we are making a simple request for transparency.
How much are the tickets for the basketball game, which the Rama family had the opportunity to watch from the front row, in the most expensive seats at Madison Square Garden? Who paid for these tickets?
According to official online data, these tickets cost between $3,600 and $7,260 per person.
We remind Albanian citizens that this is not the first time that Edi Rama has received such luxury tickets as a gift to attend NBA games in the USA.

According to Edi Rama himself, these tickets do not cost because they are reserved. But in the meantime, the truth is that every ticket, even annual subscriptions, has a very high financial cost. According to the Albanian legislation in force, if Edi Rama was offered a gift in the capacity of the Prime Minister, he should not have accepted it. If the gift was given to him as a private individual and that gift exceeds the value of 100 euros, Edi Rama must declare it to the ILDKPKI.
From the data collected so far, in the annual declaration of 2016, Edi Rama has not declared the gift of the NBA game nor the expenses of his private trip to New York.

Albanian citizens should know who are the financiers and organizers of yesterday's meeting of Edi Rama, in one of the most famous and expensive halls of the globe, in Gotham Hall, 1356 Broadëay, in the heart of Manhattan, in New York.
How much did it cost to rent the hall in this environment, the sound system, lighting, led wallet, security service and who paid these bills?
For all these expenses, the Democratic Party is collecting official information, which will then be forwarded to SPAK, but above all, in the following days, the DP will file all the data for the false statement made by Edi Rama in the statement of wealth in 2016.
It is up to the justice authorities to find out who these benefactors are who spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on gifts and fun for Edi Rama in the USA, as these are just some of the activities that have been discovered by the opposition.
In the meantime, I find the opportunity to invite Albanian citizens to join the DP's call for civil disobedience on Tuesday, October 29, at 5:00 p.m., Kelliçi declared.
