Prime Minister Edi Rama, during his speech at the UN Security Council Assembly, said that Russian aggression in Ukraine is not a problem that belongs only to Kiev, but to anyone who aspires to a free world.

He did not leave without mentioning the fear of nuclear threats coming from the Kremlin, which could bring irreparable consequences for the world. For this reason, Rama invited all the countries that have not condemned the Russian aggression in Ukraine to do so as soon as possible, before it turns into something extremely dangerous.

He added that if we do not accept this reality, we not only disappoint Ukraine, we do not fulfill our responsibilities, we are betraying our children from all sides.

" As we speak, more than 26,000 civilians have died. Tomorrow the number will be higher and will increase with each passing day. Given the unwarranted nuclear rumbling coming from various levels of the Kremlin, we are right to fear that one day this madness will turn into something worse. It is as unthinkable today as such a war was yesterday. We have a duty to help Ukraine. we may be differences but the way they can support Ukraine in the war.

We may have differences on how to support Ukraine in its struggle for freedom and dignity, different views on how this struggle will end. But it would be an insult to the intelligence of this organization if we do not accept a voice on who is the aggressor and the victim. The same fine distinction between war and peace as Tolstoy would remind you.

If we do not accept this truth as crystal, we are not only disappointing Ukraine, we are not fulfilling the demand, we are betraying our children from all sides. Ukraine's struggle belongs to everyone who aspires to live in a world where nations are free and the right to live in peace is unquestionable. For this reason, everyone must play their part. Albania is a small country, our support may not change the dynamics on the battlefield, but it contributes to not accepting the annexation and not letting what is clear turn into something dubious ," Rama emphasized.
