Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha says that SPAK's request for his arrest is based on an unconstitutional decision. He accused justice, saying that SKAP's decision is illegal, while he said that the opposition will continue the battle.
"Now, one more time. The decision of the parliament will be implemented by Sali Berisha, even though the decision of the skap is an illegal decision, based on an illegal decision.
But if the parliament, once again, the limitations to justice, immunity, are not the individual's, they are primarily the parliament's. They belong to the parliament so that no one can destabilize the parliament with other procedures. This is their morality. Then of course the individual is part of the parliament.
In this context, if the parliament accepts this illegal decision based on an illegal unconstitutional decision, it is its responsibility. I will comply with the actions of the judiciary.
As far as the opposition is concerned, I can guarantee that nothing can stop its irrevocable battle until victory. It will take place in every corner and the Albanians see this as another attempt to damage the opposition and deactivate it.
But the opposite will happen. This is an inspiration to the opposition. This act that is taken against me is a new inspiration and dedication for the opposition. In this context, I feel more motivated than ever," said Berisha.
