Invalidation of elections requested in 2 districts, here's when the Electoral College will decide on the DP's requests

The Electoral College will review the last two districts on July 23 and 24, where the Democratic Party and its allies in the 'ASHM' coalition are seeking the invalidation of the May 11 elections.

More specifically, we are talking about the Fier and Elbasan districts, where the Socialists led by Edi Rama have received 22 mandates, while 'PD-ASHM' only 8.

The Elbasan and Fier counties are the last ones that have not yet been reviewed by the Electoral College, which is the last legal link where the Democratic Party can request the invalidation of the May 11 elections.

After the review by the Electoral College, the way is opened for the Chief Commissioner Ilirian Celibashi to distribute the mandates to the candidates who emerged victorious in the May 11 elections. So far, the college has rejected the DP's claims in all the contested districts.
