The Special Court has postponed the hearing for former Prime Minister Berisha, who requested the removal of the "house arrest" security measure.
It is learned that the next session will be held on April 8, at 1:00 p.m. The reason for the postponement is the lack of prosecutors. Through a letter, the two SPAK prosecutors informed the court that they could not appear at the hearing for objective reasons.
As in every session, Berisha's lawyers Sokol Mêngjesi and Genc Gjokutaj appeared at the GJKKO premises.
We remind you that Berisha has requested several times to change the security measure, but it has been rejected. Also, the former prime minister requested to be present in the plenary sessions, as his right to represent the interest of the citizens who elected him, in the Assembly. Despite his claims, GJKKO has rejected the requests.
We remind you that Berisha has been under "house arrest" since December 30 of last year.
