A tense incident occurred during the vote counting process in the Kashar administrative unit, forcing authorities to temporarily suspend work.
According to the Democratic Party's candidate for deputy, Grigels Muçollari, the cause of the conflict was an invalid vote, which sparked debates between political representatives at the counting center.
Muçollari stated to News 24 that the clash started over the majority's preferential votes and ended with violence against the CEAZ secretary, who according to him is a representative of the DP.
" It is a conflict over an invalid vote. There were certain people who hit the secretary of the CEAZ, who are from the DP. I don't know if they are supporters of Ornaldo Rakipi, but they were representatives of the majority, because the conflict had started over the preferential votes of the majority. They are asking the police to take action. As far as I know, no one has been arrested ," he said.
