The chairman of the DP Parliamentary Group, Gazment Bardhi, said that with his affairs, Prime Minister Rama has "set fire" to Albania, impoverishing and depopulating it.
He also said that this new session will be a deja vu of 11 years of Edi Rama's government, with the majority refusing to debate and vote on laws that are in favor of the citizens.
The head of the Parliamentary Group also said that Rama is hiding from the confrontation to give an account just as he has refused to face the involvement of his brother in drug trafficking in Xibraka.
"Just look at the report that the Prime Minister has created on the Assembly. He rejects the Assembly, refuses to give an account, refuses to fulfill the constitutional obligations to report, hides from the opposition. He is fixed like any law breaker, that after breaking the law, he also hides from confrontation to account. Therefore, Edi Rama has consistently refused to confront the opposition and not for peripheral issues, but for issues in which he has been directly implicated. He has refused to confront his brother's involvement in drug trafficking Xibrake, has refused to face when his former advisor, the Romanian agent Coldea, was involved in drug trafficking, and has refused to face the charges that link his government to organized crime found a new propaganda motto. In addition to "the fault lies with the opposition", he has already added "the fault lies with the deputies", so it is not his fault, nor his corrupt ministers, but his fellow deputies, some of whom honest, but often misused as cards for his affairs or his court. The truth, fellow socialists, is that we have sworn that we will raise the cards only for the interests of the citizens and not for the opposite, as is already common here to serve a minority that, at the expense of the honest , it only serves the enrichment of the prime minister or his court. Let this session be the opportunity for you to listen to the concerns of the opposition in this hall. We are not your enemies, and you have no reason to certify yourself as enemies of Albanian citizens. Therefore, in this session, I wish that we raise cards as deputies only for what we have sworn. For the public interest, for the citizens.
The flame that Edi Rama has put on Albania will have to end with the vote of the Albanians! We, as the opposition of this country, have the historical obligation to stop the biggest evil that the country has had after the dictatorship. Basically, the regime of Edi Rama does not differ much from that of Enver Hoxha. He built a black and white dictatorship, this one today has built a colored dictatorship, in which people are afraid to speak, there are no free elections, the rule of law is not respected, there is no market economy. We need a great union with Albanians inside and outside Albania!
