The new parliamentary session has started today. Speaker Elisa Spiropali has kept her word and stated that the country is among equals, but so different.
During her speech, Spiropali said that reflection should be shared. Further, Spiropali said that in the next electoral confrontation, each of us will go with our own political balances.
Spiropali also appealed to the deputies, where he said that we must defend their views and attitudes to the end, but with parliamentary ethics, respecting the institution of the Parliament of Albania and the citizens who voted.
"My country is among equals, but so different. There are only a few months left until our reunion in front of the voter who ranked us in this number report. In the next electoral confrontation, each of us will go with our own political balances, realized expectations and worries about what we could have done differently. Impossible to change our common past, it is clear that regret for wrong actions is only valid for finding strength and correcting what we can do differently and better. I strongly believe that reflection should be shared, which also includes reproaching the past and projections for the future. The majority of this room could be more tolerant, judge based on memories where it was a minority, and the minority was more self-controlled. Let's defend our views and attitudes to the end, but with parliamentary ethics, respecting the institution of the Parliament of Albania and the citizens who voted for us and follow us" , said Spiropali.
