Democratic Party leader Sali Berisha has ruled out the possibility that the opposition will call another national protest against Edi Rama in May. Asked by journalists, Berisha said that the DP's attention is now focused on internal developments, where on May 23 there will be a vote for the party leader, while on May 30 the DP National Assembly will convene.
Berisha said that these are processes that require commitment and hard work, and therefore warned that the protests will be held next month, in June.
"Protests will continue in the strongest possible way, but as you know, from today until May 30 there are two major events, the referendum on the vote of confidence in the president and the National Assembly.
"These are processes that require work, technical preparation. The first days of June will be the most powerful peaceful uprising that Albania has known!", said Berisha.
