Prime Minister Edi Rama will pay an official visit to South Korea from May 17 to 21, accompanied by his wife Linda Rama and the Albanian delegation.
The visit focuses on cooperation between the two countries in technology, innovation and economic development.
In Seoul, Rama will attend a welcome dinner organized by the Asian Leadership Center and the Harvard Korea Club. Representatives from the Korean government, politics, and business are expected to attend the event.
During his stay in South Korea, the head of the Albanian government will hold meetings with Korean Prime Minister Kim Minseok and Samsung CEO Lee Jae-yong.
Rama will also deliver a speech at the opening ceremony of the Asian Leadership Conference, where he will participate alongside international personalities and leaders of Korean institutions.
Following the agenda, he will be part of the panel "Conversation with a Leader: An Era of Great Transformation: The Grand Strategy of a Small Nation", where he will address geopolitical developments, challenges for small countries, and the use of artificial intelligence in governance.
The visit also includes meetings with leaders of large Korean companies about investment opportunities and economic cooperation in Albania.
At the end of the program, Rama will participate in a dialogue with leaders of the Asia-Pacific region.
