During his end-of-year conference with journalists, Prime Minister Edi Rama did not fail to mention the elections in Kosovo, as he said that he personally congratulated Albin Kurti.
Rama said he does not rule out a meeting between the two governments. He said that cooperation with Kosovo will continue, emphasizing that one of the main tasks is the Durrës-Pristina railway.
"I don't know, we will talk, we will decide, it would be good to have a meeting between the two governments. Don't forget, we have had meetings between the parliaments, this year we did not do it because of the elections. Albin Kurti was reconfirmed as prime minister and I have also congratulated him personally. And we will continue the work.
"We have things we can do, especially the Durrës-Prishtina railway, which is the crown jewel; we will do our best to get it financed," Rama said.
