The Secretary General of the Democratic Party, Flamur Noka, has sparked a debate within the parliamentary group during yesterday's closed-door meeting, criticizing some opposition MPs for their behavior in the Assembly. The Democratic lawmakers seem divided in their positions, between the radicalization of the action inside the Assembly hall, a thesis supported by some of them, and the restrained actions supported by the rest.
For BalkanWeb and News24, journalist Osman Stafa has secured parts of the debates. Noka spoke out strongly during the closed-door meeting, declaring: "Anyone who thinks they are in the Assembly to come in a 5,000 euro suit or a 2,000 euro collar, and to take photos on the podium, has no connection with the citizens' need for confrontation, for resistance, for battle."
Klevis Balliu has stated that the opposition will not turn into a facade in the Assembly, adding that this is what Prime Minister Edi Rama wants.
But Luan Baçi has "advised" for "caution" and "control of emotions" on the part of DP deputies.

Flamur Noka: Friends, we are opposition MPs and the opposition has some rights that we never give up. A rule that has been in effect in Parliament for 35 years cannot be dictated to us by Niko Peleshi and Taulant Balla now. We are in the Assembly for battle, not for submission. Anyone who thinks they are in the Assembly to come in a 5,000 euro suit or a 2,000 euro collar, and to take photos on the podium, has nothing to do with the need that citizens have for confrontation, for resistance, for battle. We do not ask for anything more than our rights. We will defend our rights. We do not submit. Whoever is afraid of confrontation wants to submit, to continue, but this has nothing to do with oppositionism.
Klevis Balliu: I think we should not allow them to take away our rights that the regulations recognize. Who is Taulant Balla to tell us how we should speak and what we should ask. Questions are not read, they are presented to the public and that is done by the MP. In every session they invent a new provocation. If we release it now, we will become a facade in the Assembly, and Edi Rama wants this as a facade opposition in the Assembly.
Luan Baçi: I'm not for submission either, but we need to be more careful. We need to be less emotional.
