"55 percent of Albanians cannot make ends meet", Tabaku: The

Democratic Party MP, Jorida Tabaku, has posted a video on social media about the economic situation of Albanian families, describing it as a direct consequence of the wrong policies of the socialist government over the last 12 years.

In the video, Tabaku emphasizes that 55% of Albanians do not manage to make ends meet, as their income is not enough for basic living expenses, school, energy, transportation or food.

"Albania is a wonderful country with extraordinary potential, but unfortunately today 55% of Albanians cannot make ends meet. This is because every time the government has had the opportunity to choose, it has chosen for the minority, for the 5% who take all the wealth, against the 55% who struggle to make ends meet," Tabaku declares.

According to her, the cause lies in tax increases, market capture, and clientelistic policies that have favored a small handful of oligarchs at the expense of citizens.

Tabaku emphasizes that it is time to change the captive system and return priorities to families and the middle class, not to concessions and narrow interests.

"We need to change this, this trapped system and these wrong choices that have led Albania to this difficult moment," said the Democratic MP.
