Analyst Edvin Kulluri has spoken about recent political developments and the crisis in DP.
Kulluri emphasized that the official Democratic Party Assembly that will be held on September 2 must convey a clear message that there will be no more cooperation with Sali Berisha.
"I hope that September 2 will give a clear message that there will be no more cooperation with Mr. Berisha or one of the two should open their arms. I see no hope or possibility of the parties coming together. False and hypocritical associations serve no one. I say that Basha and Berisha should be clear that the two do not cooperate because the separation is clear, it is being outlined more and more," Kulluri said to abcnews.
Commenting on the request of the official DP to Foltores to come up with a single candidate for the elections in the municipality of Kukes, Kulluri described it as not sincere.
"There is a request for union from both sides, but it doesn't seem very sincere to me. There is now a need for clarity. I want to say clearly that there can be no cooperation between the two parties in the sense of majoritarian contests such as those for municipalities. The divide is very deep. They are just words and even Rexhmati has called for all the democrats to unite. There is no union," Kulluri said.
