Former deputy Roland Bejko, after the closing of the National Assembly of the Democratic Party, said that this is the assembly that answered all the questions or even questions that people had, especially in relation to the figure of the president of the Democratic Party.
Bejko said that everyone is free to do what they want, they can stay or they can leave.
"After a big earthquake that happened in DP two years ago, everyone is looking for their own country, so everyone is free to stay, leave, some will leave, some will come, maybe all will return one day because this is the assembly that gave answers to all the questions or even questions that people had, especially in relation to the figure of the president of the Democratic Party", - said Bejko.
Also, he commented on the statute approved in the Assembly, which, as he said, is based on the principle of separation, balance and control of powers.
Meanwhile, today the Democratic Party has a new statute in force.
The Assembly of DP of Lulzim Basha with the participation of 4254 delegates approved the changes in the functioning of this political force.
Lulzim Basha's conflicts have been reflected in statutory changes. Basha has concentrated power in his hands, where he will not only be the chairman of the party but also the chairman of the parliamentary group.
This decision includes the period when the DP is in the opposition, and at this moment Basha removes from the leadership of the parliamentary group Gazment Bardhi, the opponent of his return for the fourth mandate.
Also, another approved change is the exclusion from membership of Democrats who have competed for other electoral subjects, which means it clears the party of Sali Berisha's supporters who ran in the May 14 elections for the "Together We Win" coalition.
But unlike the interventions made in the statute, Basha appeared in the "Asllan Rusi" sports palace regretting his political past and that power will no longer belong to him.
