"The Parliament started with Rama-Berisha cooperation", Basha: We asked for the removal of immunity for MPs, to be equal with citizens

The parliamentary session is being held today in front of the Assembly of Albania.

Before the entrance of the Assembly, the democratic deputy Lulzim Basha gave a statement to the journalists.

He said that this new parliamentary session starts with Rama-Berisha cooperation. Basha further added that the proposal for vetting politicians 'sleeps' in the drawer.

"The new session starts with a collaboration between Rama and Berisha. For more than a year, we have submitted the law on the vetting of politicians to the Assembly.

In the submission of the draft law, which is kept in the drawer, we also proposed the removal of the immunity of MPs so that MPs and citizens are equal before the law", said Basha.
