Shortly after the violent protest of the opposition in front of the Parliament was closed, where it was claimed that a police officer threatened the lawmaker Luan Baçi with a gun, Gazment Bardhi reacted again.
The head of the PD group has accused the majority in a post on the Facebook social network, of using the Guard and the FNSH Forces to attack the opposition MPs.
Bardhi emphasized, among other things, that " the siege of the opposition MPs, the use of the Guard, the intervention of the Police in the territory of the Parliament or the threat of a MP's life by the police officer never happened ".
The post is also accompanied by video footage, where at one point it is claimed that the officer threatens MP Luan Baçi.
White's reaction:
"Never in the history of Albania has it happened that the deputies were surrounded by the special forces of the State Police inside the premises of the Parliament of Albania.
Never during a plenary session has it happened that the special forces of the State Police enter the interior of the Assembly and prevent the movement of the deputies. According to the law and the Rules of the Assembly, the Assembly has its own security forces, which are part of the Guard of the Republic.
It has never happened that a police officer inside the premises of the Assembly threatened to kill a member of parliament.
Despite the constant debates and occasional excesses of powers by the Guard of the Republic, today it was precisely the Guard employees who protected the lives of the MPs threatened by the Police in the interior of the Assembly.
Today the Parliament of Albania turned into the true face of Edi Rama. The state that threatens opposition MPs with police inside the Parliament has nothing to do with a state that claims to be part of the European Union and nothing to do with the principles that guide a NATO member country!"
