Former President of Albania, Rexhep Meidani, has reacted after the passing of Fatos Nano.
In a Facebook post, while expressing condolences to the family, he writes that former Prime Minister Fatos Nano left power and politics with dignity.
"Farewell Fatos Nano, colleague of the transition. You retired with dignity and quickly from power and politics. But, unfortunately, you left society and life prematurely. Condolences to the family!" , says Meidani.
The leader of the Socialist Party (SP) passed away yesterday, at the age of 73. Fatos Nano had been hospitalized in a private hospital since October 8, in serious health condition. We recall that the former prime minister had also shown health problems in the past.
