Prime Minister Edi Rama, through a post on social media, has shared a message about the May 11 parliamentary elections.
Rama has appealed to the Democrats to leave their trenches and vote for the Socialist Party.
The socialist leader states that Albania in the EU is beyond left and right.
"Get out of the party trench, leave the shirt with the logo of the Swamp or the small marshes around it, join the majority of the people on May 11, and by voting for me and the Socialist Party, support the national negotiating team for Albania's entry into the European Union and get it into your head that Albania in the EU is beyond left and right," Rama writes.
The prime minister is focusing his campaign for the May 11 elections, where he is seeking a fourth consecutive term, on Albania's EU membership. Rama has sought a massive vote for himself and the Socialist Party, setting a target of 1 million votes, the same number he received in 2013 when he was in coalition with Ilir Meta and many other parties, when he won his first mandate to form a government.
