The vice president of the Democratic Party, Agron Gjekmarkaj, said that after the decision of the Court of Appeal, today we have only one Democratic Party.
Invited to the show "Open" on News24, Gjekmarkaj said that we must now find a way not to exclude each other, to grow and overthrow the Government of Edi Rama.
" The political conflict within the DP has been the best ally of the government, now this conflict has been extinguished ", said Gjekmarkaj.
He stated that there is no division in the DP, as these wounds have already been closed, calling for the unification of all the democrats, from the 1990s and the following years, regardless of their attitudes towards Sali Berisha.
Regarding the statements of Enkelejd Alibeaj, who announced today that he will not be part of the DP parliamentary group, Gjekmarkaj said that the position must be divided: either you will be with Edi Rama, or you will be with the opposition.
" The issue is not which president Enkelejd Alibeaj wants, but who the democrats choose" , said Gjekmarkaj.
