The draft law "On the Prevention of Conflict of Interest in the Exercise of Public Functions" has caused debates in the Committee on Legal Affairs and Public Administration.
DP MP Saimir Korreshi gave several examples, sparing no time in making jokes and embarrassing the nominating MPs Erjona Ismaili and Aulona Bylykbashi.
Korreshi said that yesterday a friend had given him two dogs, which he said he should have declared whether he had given them as a member of parliament or out of friendship. He also said, between humor and irony, that even bed issues could be called a conflict of interest.
" I have a couple of specific questions, because the conflict of interest needs to be clarified. Honorable colleagues, it seems strange to see you there. You referred to Sweden and Denmark, right? I will remind you in the humor of Fadil Hasa, when you came 100 years later and 500 years later. How will you solve these gift issues? The first part is that when someone comes to you, they will ask you; I'll give you a coffee. You say; no, it's a conflict of interest. Yesterday, a friend of mine gave me two dogs. Let me ask you, did he give me two dogs as an MP or as Saimir. I have another thing, Ulsi! Conflict of interest! The woman doesn't want to go with me, but with the MP that I am. We're going to get into this too! Go to bed with me. Leave it now! Is this a conflict? ", said Korreshi.
