Prime Minister Edi Rama, during his speech at the Extended Assembly of the Socialist Party in Tirana, also discussed the law on the forced labor of young doctors.
The head of the government said that the decision of the Constitutional Court to suspend the decision is "absurd", adding that no constitutional right has been violated with this law.
He further added that the practice followed with medical students will be extended to public education, which according to the head of government is not far from European requirements.
" I don't discuss the decisions of the courts, but even the suspension that the GJK gave to the students' absurd request is absurd. It's absurd and I'm discussing it because it's a suspension. The magistracy school has a condition, you can enter but you can't get the diploma if you haven't worked for 5 years as a magistracy. It is one of the best schools in Albania.
The fact is that no constitutional right has been violated and has not been questioned. We will expand this system. In public education, which we have very favorable and not so far from the requirements of Europe, we will expand it. Or is it the other option we gave the students, you will run away tomorrow and turn your back on this country? You will pay another fee, you will pay what it costs. It is less than in Germany but you will still pay. If you want this next fee, you will stay for a maximum of 5 years. And 5 years is for those entering the first year. Those who caught them on the road will stay for 2-3 years ", said Rama, among others.
