The vice-president of the DP, Luciano Boçi, gave a speech today at the rally under the window of Sali Berisha. He stated that the Democratic Party is pro-American, that Sali Berisha is pro-American and that all Democrats are pro-American. He said that the indomitable resistance will continue.

Even today, you are not absent, endless gratitude for your endurance, for your sacrifice.
To someone, this road may seem narrow, small, but it carries a hope and conveys a hope bigger than any square, louder than any rally, stronger than any collision.
To someone else, this street may seem ordinary like many streets of Tirana, but not dear friends, this street is extraordinary because every night it gathers extraordinary men and women with an extraordinary cause.
And your arrival is an example of this indomitable endurance.
If I were to ask you all a simple question, why do we come here, you would answer: we come for Sali Berisha, for what he represents, for what he symbolizes.
Because there are men and women here who created and founded the DP and today I meet them angry that the gang in power wants to destroy their creation, wants to isolate the leader of their party.
And others are those resistance fighters of 1997, who saved the PD from the communist revanch. Today I meet them revolted again in defense against the new communist revenge.
Others are our activists, citizens, youth, men and women, whom I meet today determined to continue their fight for faith and hope.
And it was not in vain that I made this historical presentation, because every man's life is his own story.
Our life is the story of our family.
Our life is the history of DP. And this history of ours can neither be canceled nor erased. Even more so when it is our history that is beautiful, big and proud.
And one name stands out in this story, the name of Sali Berisha.
Sali Berisha's life is his story. Sali Berisha's life is the story of his family. But don't forget that the life of Sali Berisha is our history, the history of the DP. The life of Sali Berisha is the history of democracy. The life of Sali Berisha is the history of this country.
That's why that man up there should be honored and respected and not arrested.
But those who undertook this act, today play the role of the strong, but they are afraid of Sali Berisha's truth, they are afraid of the united opposition, they are afraid of your protest!
Our war is a war that is with the right of God and man. It is a struggle of common people for the highest principles of democracy. It's a fight for freedom, it's a fight for right.
Have no illusions, our fight is like in the 90s with the same corrupt leftist regime.
I have said it and I repeat it, our confrontation is not a clash with our allies, with the USA, with the West.
No, our war is with the evil that has invaded Albania.
Who is more pro-American, Sali Berisha with the Democratic Party that overthrew the dictatorship or Edi Rama with the Labor Party that seeks the dictatorship?
Who is pro-American, Sali Berisha, who in his government called immigrants to live in Albania, or Edi Rama, who committed genocide by removing 1 million of them from the country?
Who is more pro-American, Sali Berisha who together with George Bush declared the independence of Kosovo or Edi Rama who put Albania in the armpit of Serbia?
The truth that PD is pro-American, Sali Berisha is pro-American, we are all pro-American.
Our fight is not even with Edi Rama's crutch, our fight is with the crutch holder, with Edi Rama. We despise crutches, we ignore them, they are not part of us. We don't fight small wars, we fight big wars.
Our fight is for standards, for principles. Our fight is for freedom and justice!
Today or never, may we continue to fight with the passion of the ideal and the strength of a person who knows no age, with the passion of Sali Berisha.
And then we will win.
Therefore, thank you friends, long live you, long live DP, victory!
