The massacre in Shkodra ignites politics, Salianji accuses the government of

The serious incident that occurred today in Shkodra, where Armando Pali and Liridon Kraja were killed, while two other people were injured, has brought strong political reactions.

Former Democratic MP Ervin Salianji has linked the massacre to the lack of equal justice and the government's capture of institutions.

In a reaction on social media, Salianji expressed condolences to the families of the victims and wished the injured a speedy recovery, but stressed that the incident was not an isolated case. According to him, crime and violence are the result of a broken justice system that does not protect citizens, but favors individuals connected to power.

" Today's criminal was caught with 1.3 kg of drugs, bulletproof vests, silicone masks, photos with weapons on the internet and served almost a year in prison to be later released by the courts, while citizens remain defenseless. Thousands populate prisons for a few grams of cannabis, for building a stable or plastering without a permit, while dangerous criminals roam free ," said Salianji.

He compared this reality to his personal experience, recalling the sentence he received after denouncing the links between politics and crime, while according to him, dangerous truths are released with court decisions.

"This is the face of a government with a distorted justice system, which does not protect the lives and safety of citizens. Albania urgently needs true justice, which guarantees security and equality before the law for all," he said.

The Shkodra event has shocked public opinion and reopened the debate on the effectiveness of justice reform, the role of the courts, and light sentences for people with criminal records.

Today's tragic event in Shkodra, with two lives lost and citizens who go out to earn a living injured, is a great pain for the families of the victims and for the entire city. I express my sincere condolences to the relatives and hope for a speedy recovery for the injured.

This tragedy is not just an isolated case of violence, but the result of a government that uses everything to secure votes for power, producing a justice system that produces injustice. Today's criminal was caught with 1.3 kg of drugs, bulletproof vests, silicone masks, photos with weapons on the networks and has served almost a year in prison before being released by the courts, while citizens remain defenseless, thousands of citizens populate prisons today for a few grams of cannabis, thousands more are stuck in prison for having plastered or built barns or stables without a permit, and hundreds of others do not even know why they are being punished, only because they do not have political power. I have experienced firsthand how at the same time that dangerous criminals are released, I was punished for denouncing this category associated with the government!

This is the face of a government with a distorted justice system that does not protect the lives and safety of its citizens. Albania urgently needs true justice that guarantees security and equality before the law for all.
