The head of the LZHK, Dashamir Shehi, has called the SP-PD agreement on the lists of deputies and the proposed changes to the Electoral Code a betrayal.
Invited to the show "Debat" on "A2CNN", Shehi said that those who have discussed the changes have no other interest than the mandate of the deputy.
" I was betrayed by my opposition colleagues. These are people who do not want the opposition to come to power, but their dream ends until the mandate of the deputy. I wanted to do one more thing, along with many other colleagues. I wanted to defeat Edi Rama, to defeat this government that has been violating Albania for 12 years... They wanted to take the mandate of the deputy. They will enjoy it ," said Shehi.
Shehi further said that he had several different proposals, one of which would be the division into 4 constituencies and open lists.
" My proposal was to expand the electoral areas, with 4 areas. But, not 12 because we are not China. They make fun of the regions. Then, open the list" , added Shehi.
