The former leader of the DP, Lulzim Basha, has called the agreement between the SP-PD on the closed lists, as provided for in the draft for changes to the electoral code, which the parties agreed on yesterday, an assassination attempt on Albanian democracy.
During his speech at the table of political parties and municipal councilors of the Opposition Arch forces, Basha directly accused the Democratic Party and its leader, Sali Berisha, of shopping with Edi Rama.
Further, Basha added that this pact between the two parties concretized the fusion of the SP and Reestablishment into a single party.
" Until this moment we are talking, thanks to the decision of the Constitutional Court, the deputies in the Parliament of Albania do not elect the leaders of the parties, but elect the citizens based on the principle of whoever gets the most votes, represents the citizens in the Parliament as a deputy or as a deputy, of course maintained the gender quotas and the representation of 1/3 of the women and girls, from the Albanian women and girls.
The attack on Albanian democracy, which was concluded yesterday, will do exactly that, re-close the lists opened by the decision of the Constitutional Court. This has already been known for 24 hours by the big and the small. And I'm glad that even some who have not yet been drugged by the deceptions and lies that they have thrown in bulk and in short supply in the last two years, are now becoming aware that those who shouted the most "catch the thief" are the real thieves of Albanian democracy.
Those who have accused us of being collaborators of the most corrupt government of these 34 years, are not only their partners in construction towers, not only their partners in joint oligarchies, not only their partners in the media, not only their partners in corruption and the release of the corrupt, but now also a common partner to practically merge into a Socialist Party of Albania and the Reestablishment, i.e. to return them to the starting point before the bing bang of Katovica, before Ramiz Alia t "separated here the security officers and here the security spies", said Basha.
